Presentation QA Reference 002: Read-First Review of Three Records

What changed

• Read all three assigned records in full, frontmatter through final line, including every appended Related Aphorisms/Haikus/Limericks residue section.
• One record earned a change: fref-0520-estl.md line 87, where This is working as designed. was italicized as the record's single genuine pivot — the verdict line resolving the five evaluation questions above it. The diff is asterisks only; no words were added, removed, reordered, or corrected.
• Two records were reviewed unchanged: fref-0510-akdb.md (already carries emphasis — bold mascot names and a *preservation*/*influence* distinction — and its pivots are already line-isolated) and fref-0530-anxr.md (no emphasis, but every rhetorical pivot is already a standalone line; markup would double-mark).

What was deliberately left alone

• All frontmatter, canonical IDs, tags, headings and {#...} anchors, two-space verse hard breaks (108/68/73 lines across the three records), trailing-space residue, repeated aphorism taglines, and all generated residue sections.
• fref-0510-akdb.md line 274 Doctrine Note These mascots distinguish... — a corpus-wide residue pattern (identical shape at fref-0070-aopt.md:48), not a local defect.
• fref-0520-estl.md line 138 ### Aesthetic Survival — truncated, anchorless residue heading; protected markup, flagged not fixed.
• Off-topic and broken verse residue: the form-number-nine and oven-calendar limericks in fref-0520, the Fill recovery haiku and meter-broken limericks in fref-0530, and the deliberately un-rhyming but lack. in fref-0510.

Verification performed

• ./bin/validate_graph.sh: Boris graph diagnostics and full Cantilever compile (see PR for exact outcome).
• scripts/check_presentation_qa.py handoff check against the agreed base/head commits.
• scripts/test_presentation_qa.py regression suite.
• Compiled-article inspection of the changed record, the largest record, and an unchanged record at desktop and mobile viewport sizes.

Unresolved follow-up

• fref-0510-akdb.md lines 279–281 and 367 contain empty generated headings (## Acknowledgment Deletion Bias {#acknowledgment-deletion-bias-3}, ## Haikus). ^## Haikus$ and {#...} anchors are corpus-wide systematic generator residue across content/reference/; removing them touches protected markup and needs a narrow maintainer decision. Recorded on #773; not edited here.
• Pre-existing count drift on main entering this work: content/changelog.md declared 66 while the source directory already held 67 records. This docket's Count: line is set to the accurate recount (68) per the baseline's finalization lane.
