Presentation QA Aphorisms 003: Read-First Review of 25 Records

Maintenance ID: 0.1.00059.aphorisms-003 Date: 2026-10-08 Scope: content/aphorisms/ — the 25 records assigned by workload issue #617 (APH-058 through APH-083, minus the unassigned APH-062)

What changed

  • Read all 25 assigned records in full, frontmatter through final line.
  • APH-067.vexsys-antagon.md line 28: bolded "The JSON appeared entirely legitimate until it was parsed." — the record's standalone pivot on deceptive legitimacy, previously unembellished while three neighboring lines already carried italics. Asterisks only.
  • APH-078.si-9-interval-witness.md line 28: bolded "The most administratively heavy parts of the record are the exact moments where no one was actually working." — the record's thesis statement. Asterisks only.

What was deliberately left alone

  • All frontmatter, canonical IDs, tags, titles, quoted/documentary material, and the double-blank-line aphorism spacing used throughout the assignment.
  • 23 records reviewed unchanged. The four records without any bold (058, 067, 072, 078) were judged individually: 067 and 078 each had one genuine unembellished pivot; 058 is uniformly flat by design (every aphorism pairs a procedural act with a rotating stock closer, so no single line stands as pivot); 072 already italicizes every punch word, so a bold would only double-emphasize.
  • APH-060.courier-rat.md carries the same bolded line twice ("A file too quiet is a memo undelivered.", lines 12 and 28) — an intentional duplicate, preserved rather than "rebalanced."
  • APH-079.sc-lambda-care-continuity-split.md frontmatter tag cuntier looked suspect but appears in three other corpus records; treated as established vocabulary, not a typo.

Verification performed

  • BORIS_BIN=/Users/tbuddy/dev/filed.fyi/bin/boris ./bin/validate_graph.sh — passed.
  • git diff confirmed emphasis markers only; no word, order, ID, or whitespace changes.
  • Compiled-article inspection of both changed records and an unchanged neighbor in dist/cantilever/.

Unresolved follow-up

  • None.
