• Read all 25 assigned records in full, frontmatter through final line. All matched the issue snapshot (8997eebee2a4e620c5dd47fcea97abf515c4cac6) exactly; no intervening diffs.
• APH-227.burden-shrew.md line 36: bolded "Fine white dust from the fracturing ceiling is currently accumulating on my keyboard." — the record's only first-person material intrusion, after seven aphorisms of relocating the burden out of sight. Asterisks only.
• APH-230.lodgecanary-vellumbeak.md line 24: bolded "They wrote a policy about keeping canaries alive instead of opening a window." — the record's thesis indictment, delivered after the canary drops. Asterisks only.

What was deliberately left alone

• All frontmatter, canonical IDs, tags, titles, and the double-blank-line aphorism spacing used throughout the assignment.
• 19 records reviewed unchanged. APH-224.velv-stablecoin.md and APH-226.serotonin-sam.md already carry the character-record bold tagline at line 12. Most 24-line records already italicize their punch phrases; adding bold would only double-emphasize.
• APH-243.compliance-murmur.md carries a two-register structure (three short aphorisms, then four longer officialese expansions beginning at line 25, separated by a blank line at line 23–24). Bolding inside the second register would break its deliberate bureaucratic flatness; left uniform.
• APH-234.kindness-template.md line 20 ("The 'we' is a script. The 'this' is a void. The 'looking' is purely metaphorical.") is already self-emphasized by structure and quotation; a bold would be decoration.
