Presentation QA Aphorisms 006: Read-First Review of 25 Records

Maintenance ID: 0.1.00068.aphorisms-006 Date: 2026-10-08 Scope: content/aphorisms/ — the 25 records assigned by workload issue #620 (APH-248 through APH-272)

What changed

  • Read all 25 assigned records in full, frontmatter through final line. All matched the issue snapshot (8997eebee2a4e620c5dd47fcea97abf515c4cac6) exactly; no intervening diffs.
  • APH-259.drift-lapel.md line 24: removed one stray blank line. Every other inter-aphorism separator in the record is three blank lines; the gap between the "Enterprise Infrastructure" aphorism (line 20) and the "brass paperweight" aphorism (line 25) held four. Whitespace only; no words touched.

What was deliberately left alone

  • All frontmatter, canonical IDs, tags, titles, and the three-blank-line aphorism spacing used throughout the assignment.
  • 24 records reviewed unchanged. The batch's dominant pattern — italicized pivots on the early aphorisms and deliberately flat, unstyled residue expansions in the tail — was left as found; normalizing the tail would smooth over archival residue.
  • APH-258.pocket-consensus.md and APH-260.sidebar-mercy.md already carry their single bold pivot at line 12; no second pivot added.
  • No new bold was added anywhere: in multi-aphorism records the emphasis convention is per-aphorism italics, and elevating one sibling with the record's only bold would be decoration rather than a pivot.
  • APH-251 lines 20 and 28 restate the same 99.9%/98.2% SLA figures — an intentional residue echo, preserved.

Verification performed

  • BORIS_BIN=/Users/tbuddy/dev/filed.fyi/bin/boris ./bin/validate_graph.sh — passed.
  • python3 scripts/check_collection_counts.py — PASS: collection counts and README totals match Markdown source.
  • git diff confirmed whitespace-only change; no word, order, ID, or emphasis changes.
  • Compiled-article inspection of dist/cantilever/aphorisms/APH-0259.html: eight paragraphs rendered cleanly, existing italics intact, no stray delimiters.

Unresolved follow-up

  • None.
