Presentation QA Aphorisms 014: Read-First Review of 25 Records

Maintenance ID: 0.1.00080.aphorisms-014 Date: 2026-10-08 Scope: content/aphorisms/ — the 25 records assigned by workload issue #628 (APH-FREF-0870-WTSL, APH-FREF-0880-WPRT, and the APH-LLG block 0001–0230)

What changed

  • Read all 25 assigned records in full, frontmatter through final line. None had drifted from the issue snapshot (8997eebee2a4e620c5dd47fcea97abf515c4cac6); the only aphorisms touched since that snapshot belong to other merged QA batches.
  • APH-LLG-0051-E.md line 28: bolded the single-sentence aphorism "A recursive chain of emotional verification is not a failure of system design; it is the optimal methodology for indexing human indecision." It is the record's generative pivot — the only entry that passes the verdict every other entry dramatizes. One bold; no words touched.

What was deliberately left alone

  • All frontmatter, canonical IDs, tags, titles, and the collection's uniform spacing convention (two blanks after the heading, three between aphorisms), which a read-only inventory confirmed is already consistent in all 25 records.
  • 24 records reviewed unchanged. In the refrain-uniform records every aphorism closes on a shared rotating residue line ("Relief remained outside scope.", "Meaning adjusted around the winning selector.", etc.); bolding one occurrence would privilege a deliberately repeated device. In the peer-punchline records (e.g. APH-LLG-0230-HYG, APH-LLG-0226-SUPR) two or more comparably sharp candidate pivots make different claims, so no single pivot was earned.
  • APH-LLG-0230-HYG.md line 12 ends mid-phrase ("...and ensure that."). Consistent with the collection's fragment-residue openers; preserved as found.
  • Recurring entries across records ("Emotionally acknowledged, operationally denied." appears in both APH-LLG-0020-COMA19-PBC line 20 and APH-LLG-0072-SOMA line 12) are intentional duplicates, preserved.

Verification performed

  • BORIS_BIN=/Users/tbuddy/dev/filed.fyi/bin/boris ./bin/validate_graph.sh — passed.
  • python3 scripts/check_collection_counts.py — PASS: collection counts and README totals match Markdown source.
  • git diff confirmed the only content change is the ** pair in APH-LLG-0051-E.md line 28.
  • Compiled-article inspection of dist/cantilever/aphorisms/APH-LLG-0051-E.html: the aphorism renders in <strong> inside its own paragraph; surrounding paragraphs and the residue refrains are unchanged. Spot-checked unchanged APH-LLG-0230-HYG.html — renders as before.

Unresolved follow-up

  • None.
