Presentation QA Changelog 005: Read-First Review of 10 Docket Records

Maintenance ID: 0.1.00091.changelog-005 Date: 2026-10-08 Scope: content/changelog/ — the 10 records assigned by workload issue #641 (2026-09-29-issue-followups.md, 2026-10-06-editorial-emphasis-pass-01.md through -09.md)

What changed

  • Read all 10 assigned records in full, frontmatter through final line. All matched the issue snapshot (8997eebee2a4e620c5dd47fcea97abf515c4cac6) exactly; no intervening diffs.
  • 2026-10-06-editorial-emphasis-pass-01.md line 17: bolded "Bold is reserved for the single sentence a record pivots on, at most one per record" — the definitional rule the emphasis-pass program pivots on, established in this charter record and self-demonstrating in kind. Asterisks only; the parenthetical quoted examples stay outside the mark.

What was deliberately left alone

  • All frontmatter, canonical IDs, tags, titles, the three-line bold-label docket header convention, and every quoted aphorism phrase (documentary quotes, not emphasis candidates).
  • Nine records reviewed unchanged. The docket form already carries its scanning structure in the bold field labels and section headings; the bullets are deliberately parallel in weight.
  • 2026-10-06-editorial-emphasis-pass-06.md and -08.md already carry inline italics (*asterisk*, *bold font*) quoting their meta-touch records; existing emphasis is not permission for more.
  • 2026-10-06-editorial-emphasis-pass-07.md left entirely plain: the run it documents obeyed APH-286's "Do not use bold fonts" policy (verified at APH-286.favorable-beige.md line 24); a bold mark in its docket would contradict the record's own subject.
  • All historical claims — the 2,246-file census, remaining-queue arithmetic (verified internally consistent: 2,221 through 2,021), the trunk-count chain (41 → 50 across runs 01–09), the Boris pin 07dc0d3cc101d86682ec92e06ba00edef9d90c75, and the numbering-gap lists (APH-022/038/043/047/055 verified absent) — preserved as documentary evidence.

Verification performed

  • BORIS_BIN=/Users/tbuddy/dev/filed.fyi/bin/boris ./bin/validate_graph.sh — passed: Boris graph diagnostics, full Cantilever compile, verse residue check, HTML ID audit, Filed certification.
  • python3 scripts/check_collection_counts.py — PASS after updating the changelog trunk count and README totals.
  • Claim spot-checks against the live corpus: APH-286's no-bold rule (line 24), APH-261's *asterisk* burial (line 20), APH-405's pre-existing *sunset*/*extinguish* (line 12), and APH-304's bold opener (line 32) all verified as documented.
  • git diff on the changed record confirms emphasis markers only; no word, order, ID, link, or whitespace changes.

Unresolved follow-up

  • 2026-10-06-editorial-emphasis-pass-09.md line 19 reads "Bold appears twice: APH-404's opener ..." but names only one target, and a read-only census of the run's full APH-324–426 range finds exactly one bold span (APH-404.404sy-mclostalot.md line 12 — the same mark the aphorisms-009 review preserved). Either a second target was dropped mid-sentence or the count is wrong. Documentary discrepancy reported per issue instruction; the historical claim is preserved unchanged.
  • 2026-10-06-editorial-emphasis-pass-09.md tag order (aphorisms before changelog) differs from its eight sibling dockets; frontmatter is a protected region — flagged, not normalized.
