Presentation QA Limericks 020: Read-First Review of Twenty-Four Records

Maintenance ID: 0.1.00128.limericks-020 Date: 2026-10-08 Scope: content/limericks/ — the twenty-four records assigned by workload issue #686 (lim-ffp-0385-progress-without-work, lim-footnote-pallbearer, lim-forbiddy-noentry, lim-form-sister-pale, lim-formee-formeson, lim-fref-0020 through lim-fref-0195)

What changed

  • Read all twenty-four assigned records in full, frontmatter through final line.
  • lim-fref-0140-ocvs.md line 28: bolded "This sentence makes perfectly sense!" — the panic-trigger line of an over-coherence screening record is itself a broken sentence; the record demonstrates its own thesis there. Asterisks only; the trailing two-space hard break is preserved.
  • lim-fref-0180-tdci.md line 40: bolded "I really don't care for this rhyme." — the record's sole fourth-wall break, where the ingestion clerk disowns the verse form mid-stanza. Asterisks only; hard break preserved.
  • lim-fref-0195-fwru.md line 72: bolded "It's lucky the servers are dead." — the closing inversion the freeze-window escalation builds to. Final line, no hard break involved.
  • Recounted content/changelog/ source records, including this docket, and set the trunk's Count: to 104. README totals updated to match source: 2,309 pages, 11 trunks, 2,298 satellites.

What was deliberately left alone

  • All frontmatter, canonical IDs, titles, tags, stanza structure, indentation, two-space hard breaks, quoted/documentary material, and existing emphasis throughout.
  • Twenty records reviewed unchanged. Of note: lim-forbiddy-noentry.md already carries ingest-era emphasis (<u>Forbiddy</u>, "**No,**", **admin**, *password*, lines 12–16); lim-form-sister-pale.md carries a deliberate one-italic-per-stanza motif (*perfectly drawn*, *clean*, *errors so fine*, et al.); neither was added to nor rebalanced.
  • The seventeen sibling lim-fref-* records share a five-stanza procedural-entropy shape; for most, the exclamatory panic stanza is already loud enough that bold would decorate rather than pivot. No cross-record emphasis template was applied.
  • lim-ffp-0385-progress-without-work.md drifted from snapshot 8997eebee via ed4ff55b (0.1.00056.verse-hard-break-consistency): intervening diff is trailing two-space hard breaks only, disclosed and left exactly as restored. Its monotone 28-stanza flatness is the record's effect; no line earns a pivot.
  • lim-footnote-pallbearer.md keeps its dual register — punctuated, hard-broken stanzas (lines 12–32) followed by unpunctuated, unbroken stanzas (lines 38–74). The register seam is ingest residue, preserved.

Verification performed

  • BORIS_BIN=/Users/tbuddy/dev/filed.fyi/bin/boris ./bin/validate_graph.sh — passed: Boris graph diagnostics and full Cantilever compile clean.
  • git diff on the three changed records confirms emphasis markers only; no word, order, ID, link, or whitespace changes. Hard breaks verified byte-exact via cat -et before and after.
  • python3 scripts/check_collection_counts.py — PASS after updating the changelog trunk count and README totals.

Unresolved follow-up

  • lim-formee-formeson.md carries dense ingest-era markup — roughly a hundred bold/italic spans across lines 12–88 (<u>**Formee**</u> **filed** you *before you existed* et al.) — while lines 92–144 run plain. Rebalance-versus-preserve is not a mechanical call; flagged needs decision on #686, same treatment as LIM-LLG-0383-RAW under 0.1.00117.limericks-009.
