Presentation QA Limericks 026: Read-First Review of 16 Records

Maintenance ID: 0.1.00134.limericks-026 Date: 2026-10-08 Scope: content/limericks/ — the 16 records assigned by workload issue #692 (LIM-0139 through LIM-0154, the lim-minute-absolution … lim-parvovirus-p run)

What changed

  • Read all 16 assigned records in full, frontmatter through final line, including residue stanza blocks and existing ingest-era formatting.
  • lim-obsolescence-steward.md line 114: bolded "And issued a mandate to stay." — the closing pivot where a scaffold built for a day drafts its own paperwork and becomes permanent. Asterisks only; the record's only emphasis.
  • lim-orphan-symmetry.md line 56: bolded "But it looks fucking perfect in hell." — the thesis line of the "decorative shell" stanza, where symmetric decay finally reads as design. Asterisks only; trailing two-space hard break preserved.
  • Recounted content/changelog/ source records, including this docket, and set the trunk Count: and README totals to the actual post-merge census.

Snapshot disclosure

  • lim-obsolescence-steward.md changed between snapshot 8997eebe and review: commit ed4ff55b (docket 0.1.00056.verse-hard-break-consistency) restored missing two-space hard breaks in the first ten stanzas. The current file was reread in full; the added bold sits on the file's final line, untouched by that restoration.
  • The other 15 assigned files are identical to the snapshot.

What was deliberately left alone

  • All frontmatter, canonical IDs, titles, tags, stanza order, verse text, indentation, and two-space hard breaks. Verse bodies are protected; the diff is asterisks only.
  • The coordinator's claim that most records carry one bold pivot does not hold in this range: the emphasis-pass runs (0.1.00037–0.1.00044) stopped at sorted record 200, before the lim-* series. Eight records carry ingest-era italic styling (gremblin, neppy, octomerge, kushkeeper, old-wire, paper-crown, parsey, parvovirus) and needed nothing; seven were plain.
  • lim-moveda-permanently.md was read in full but not rebalanced: it carries ~45 bold spans of raw ingest-era density plus a terminal --- rule at line 138. Flagged needs decision on #692 — the same call made for LIM-LLG-0383-RAW (18 spans) under 0.1.00117.limericks-009.
  • Cross-record duplicate stanzas (somebody's cat in LIM-0139/LIM-0141, zero relief in LIM-0141/LIM-0142) are intentional residue and were preserved.
  • The profane-register 74-liners (LIM-0139, -0140, -0141, -0142, -0151) were left plain; every stanza is already the joke, and per the run-01 convention the loud register does not need help.

Verification performed

  • BORIS_BIN=/Users/tbuddy/dev/filed.fyi/bin/boris ./bin/validate_graph.sh — passed: Boris graph diagnostics and full Cantilever compile, exit 0.
  • git diff confirms asterisks-only changes; both edited files are byte-identical to HEAD after stripping *. Trailing hard break verified on the orphan-symmetry pivot line.
  • python3 scripts/check_collection_counts.py — PASS after updating the changelog trunk Count: and README totals.

Unresolved follow-up

  • One needs decision item posted on #692: the ~45-span bold density in lim-moveda-permanently.md (rebalance or preserve as ingest residue, like LIM-LLG-0383-RAW). The issue stays open until the maintainer resolves or explicitly waives it.
