Presentation QA Lorelog 026: Read-First Review of Six Records

Maintenance ID: 0.1.00171.lorelog-026 Date: 2026-10-08 Scope: content/lorelog/ — the six records assigned by workload issue #724 (LLG-0870-EAS, LLG-0871-ASF, LLG-0890-EPS, LLG-08xx-EPS, LLG-BHDSS-TOAST, LLG-CLIN-COMP-KAIZEN)

What changed

  • Read all six assigned records in full, frontmatter through final line, including the Related Aphorisms/Haikus/Limericks residue in each. All six were identical to snapshot 8997eebee2a4e620c5dd47fcea97abf515c4cac6 at review time; no intervening diffs.
  • LLG-0870-EAS.md line 65: bolded "visibility, not existence, is the actual battleground of institutional truth" — the archive-position thesis the record's reporting-relocation narrative turns on, echoed by aphorism residue at line 100 ("proximity to the summary viewport"). The prose carried italics only. Asterisks only.
  • LLG-0871-ASF.md line 27: bolded "The more dangerous the text became, the softer the font weight was rendered." — the one-line inversion at the center of the smoothing mechanism. The prose carried zero prior bold. Asterisks only.
  • LLG-0890-EPS.md line 36: bolded "the person who holds the pencil holds the truth" — the minute-absolution doctrine the record names, echoed by limerick residue at line 114 ("The pencil is holy and just"). Asterisks only.
  • LLG-08xx-EPS.md line 72: bolded "once failure signatures are asked to sell comfort, they lose some of their power to criticize the conditions they were born to mark" — the archive-position thesis, echoed by aphorism residue at line 122. Asterisks only.

What was deliberately left alone

  • All frontmatter, canonical IDs, titles, status, tags, {#...} heading anchors, quoted material, backtick spans, verse stanzas, two-space hard breaks, indented limerick continuation lines, list-item verse residue, and the double-blank-line residue spacing throughout.
  • LLG-08xx-EPS.md: the record's bare-text section headings ("Summary", "Origin Image Set", "Bricky’s Filing Notes", etc.) and the !-- STOP LORELOG FILE -- residue marker at line 87 were preserved as found — consistent with the protected-markup default; converting them to ## headings would alter the document outline and create anchors this pasted-dump record never claimed.
  • LLG-BHDSS-TOAST.md reviewed unchanged: emphasis already spent — **Toast Effect** (line 17), **Index Drift** (line 25), **Emotional Residue** (line 29), **Field Clerk (Doomed AI):** (line 65) — plus ### sections, --- rules, and code spans. The limerick residue includes off-topic generic tech limericks (a cat in a hat, a Dewey-system sneeze); residue, preserved.
  • LLG-CLIN-COMP-KAIZEN.md reviewed unchanged: every ritual section already carries the bold liturgy labels (**Name:**, **Officiant:**, **Artifact:**, **Ritual:**, and friends). Any addition would be decoration.

Verification performed

  • BORIS_BIN=/Users/tbuddy/dev/filed.fyi/bin/boris ./bin/validate_graph.sh — passed: Boris graph diagnostics, full Cantilever compile, verse residue check, 0 duplicate HTML IDs, Filed certification.
  • git diff on the four changed records confirms emphasis markers only; no word, order, ID, link, or whitespace changes.
  • Compiled-article inspection (dist/cantilever/lorelog/*.html): each changed record renders exactly one new <strong>; unchanged records render only pre-existing emphasis.
  • python3 scripts/check_collection_counts.py — PASS after updating the changelog trunk count and README totals.

Unresolved follow-up

  • None. No :::note fences or needs decision items were found in the assignment.
