What changed

Read all 8 assigned records in full, frontmatter through final related-residue line. No file changed since snapshot 8997eebe (git diff empty); line counts matched the assignment table.
085.rot-mcmascotterton.md lines 31–36: inserted five blank lines splitting the biography's six run-together source lines into their authored blocks (thesis line, three body paragraphs, jurisdiction line, **Traits:** label). Previously the whole block compiled as one run-on  ending in the traits label. Also bolded "They are in denial, on purpose." — the record's thesis pivot (deliberate denial as function).
201.quill-staticvox.md line 18–19: blank line between the two authored biography paragraphs. Bolded "It didn’t." — the deadpan verdict that pivots the 17-hour distress-signal anecdote.
202.ledger-shadeledger.md line 28: bolded "the intention of imbalance" — the record's definitional not-X-but-Y pivot (transactions vs. intent). Biography already carried correct block separation; nothing else moved.
203.cinder-forgememo.md line 18–19: blank line between biography paragraphs. Bolded "both creation and destruction" — the record's working duality, stated once.
204.pump-razorbackfuel.md line 18–19: blank line between biography paragraphs. Bolded "whether sauce stains count as metadata" — where roadside biography turns into the archive's core question.

121.archiva-dustwhisper.md: reviewed unchanged. Single authored biography paragraph, proper ## System Incident list, no stat block or run-on prose. Its strongest line ("The archive does not forget; it misfiles with conviction.") sits inside the Aphorisms residue block — quoted material, not an edit target.

What was deliberately left alone

All frontmatter, canonical IDs, tags, titles, anchors ({#...}), lists, blockquotes, --- rules, checkbox addenda, bare [](url) reference links, and every existing emphasis marker including the italics convention in verse.
Stat blocks (**Role:**-style consecutive lines, e.g. 201–206 lines 11–14) and 085's ## Rotkeeper Alignment sigil lines (25–27): compiled run-on  verified in dist/cantilever/mascots/M-0201.html, but this is the dominant convention across ~70 mascot records — already tracked corpus-wide in #833. Left run-on pending maintainer decision.
202 line 63–64 "Recommended procedure:" / "Do not open the Vault expecting closure." — run-on, but the colon reads as intended lead-in; not a defect worth touching.
202 lines 78–82 Anomalies list mixes * and - markers; compiles as one list. Existing markup, preserved.
All verse hard breaks untouched: every assigned record's ## Haikus and ## Limerick Log regions carry two-space breaks on all non-final stanza lines (verified 52–57 per file); none needed restoration. Aphorism entries embedding verse as prose (e.g. 085 line 62's "Clean build in the night, …") are a single-line residue convention consistent across all 8 records — left as authored.

Verification performed

python3 read-only run-on scan across all 8 files; every consecutive-line block enumerated and classified (prose vs. stat block vs. verse) before any edit.
Compiled-article inspection before edits: M-0201.html stat block and biography confirmed as run-on ; M-0085.html alignment sigils and biography confirmed run-on; haiku   rendering confirmed intact.
git diff review after edits: blank lines and ** only; no word, order, frontmatter, ID, anchor, or markup changes.
BORIS_BIN=/Users/tbuddy/dev/filed.fyi/bin/boris ./bin/validate_graph.sh — passed after the edits.
Post-edit compiled inspection of all 7 changed records: biographies emit separate  blocks, bold pivots emit , stat blocks and protected verse byte-identical to pre-edit.

Unresolved follow-up

The mascot stat-block / sigil-line run-on convention (6 of 8 assigned records affected) remains a collection-level decision tracked in #833.
