• Read all 9 assigned records in full, frontmatter through final limerick line, including the merged-residue ## Aphorisms / ## Haiku Log / ## Limerick Log appendices.
• 230.lodgecanary-vellumbeak.md line 16: bolded load-bearing — the thesis pivot on which the whole classification turns (ritual is unopposed until it becomes structural). The record carried no prior emphasis. Asterisks only.
• 238.soft-escalation-clerk.md line 74: bolded indoor voice — the Archive Note's landing phrase, where the record's mechanism compresses into its verdict. The record carried no prior emphasis. Asterisks only.
• Reviewed unchanged: 232, 233, 234, 236, 237 — each already carries its cue (boundary-note bolds, *not* italics, a **Distinction:** label) or carries the contrast plainly in prose.

What was deliberately left alone

• All frontmatter, canonical IDs, titles, anchors ({#...}), statuses, tags, and relations.
• Every verse line: all ## Haikus and ## Limerick Log stanzas in the 9 records already carry two-space hard breaks, verified by a read-only scan; nothing touched.
• The consecutive-line thesis/stat-block prose convention (e.g. 230 lines 15–16, 237 lines 21–22, 238 lines 15–16 and 30–31): these compile as merged paragraphs and are the dominant mascot layout — a collection-level convention, not a per-record fix.
• Dual-era limerick residue (punctuated stanzas followed by flat unpunctuated ones in 230, 232, 234, 236, 237, 238): archival layering, preserved.
• 231.kpi-koala.md and 235.annexa-sorrowmark.md: left byte-identical despite the suspected defects below — presentation QA does not touch words or punctuation.

Verification performed

• python3 read-only scan enumerating every consecutive non-blank line block lacking hard breaks across all 9 files; all hits classified as frontmatter or stat-block prose, none in verse.
• BORIS_BIN=/Users/tbuddy/dev/filed.fyi/bin/boris ./bin/validate_graph.sh — passed after the edits.
• Compiled-article inspection of dist/cantilever/mascots/M-0230.html (exactly <strong>load-bearing</strong>, 38 <br>), M-0238.html (exactly <strong>indoor voice</strong>, 38 <br>), and unchanged M-0231.html (3 original bolds, 46 <br>): no stray delimiters, broken breaks, or anchor damage.

Unresolved follow-up

• 231.kpi-koala.md line 35: Koala does not move thresholds he decides which views count as the official story. — suspected dropped separator after "thresholds", present since the Boris migration commit. Flagged needs decision; preserved as-is.
