What changed

• Read all ten assigned records in full, frontmatter through final related-residue line. One earned bold pivot per record; asterisks only.
• 239.annex-lurker.md line 13: bolded "certifier of deferred reality" — the mascot's office title, the definitional pivot of the record.
• 240.badgevine.md line 11: bolded "unearned credentials to simulate legitimacy" — the mechanism the record exists to name.
• 241.care-coverage-wisp.md line 16: bolded "care rendered as reach first" — the thesis pivot; the record's whole argument is reach mistaken for relief.
• 242.false-rest-lantern.md line 16: bolded "illuminates it in a way that invites premature trust" — the turn from "does not create silence" into the Lantern's actual function.
• 243.compliance-murmur.md line 11: bolded "the specific sound a system makes when resistance grows too expensive to format" — the definitional pivot.
• 244.sentiment-launderette.md line 11: bolded "admissible for KPI presentations" — the banal endpoint that is the record's point.
• 245.escalady.md line 11: bolded "problems sent upward to die gracefully" — the definitional pivot. The deadpan landing at line 17 ("The stairs, however, have already been reserved.") was left plain; its own paragraph already carries it.

What was deliberately left alone

• All frontmatter, canonical IDs, tags, titles, anchors ({#...}), quoted/documentary material, headings, lists, and every pre-existing emphasis marker (entity-name and stat-label bolds, italics, ### subsection headings in 248).
• 242.false-rest-lantern.md line 47: "depletion.Lantern" renders as-is (missing space), and ## Failure Modes at line 48 follows the paragraph with no blank line (still compiles to a proper <h2>). Line 81: "SI-9 the Lantern" run-on — missing clause punctuation. Non-formatting defects — flagged needs decision, untouched.
• 246.thankyou-ash.md line 81: "Boundary Note Ash records..." — a boundary note fused into the Archive Note paragraph; sibling records carry it as a ## Boundary Note heading. Restoring it would mean creating a heading/anchor — a protected-region change. Flagged needs decision, untouched.
• 241.care-coverage-wisp.md line 49: "improvement she only guarantees" — missing clause punctuation. Flagged needs decision, untouched.
• Second-era limerick batches (241 lines 166–202, 242 lines 157–193, 243 lines 102–138, 247 lines 197–233, 248 lines 142–146): verse lines with intact two-space hard breaks but no end punctuation, separated from the first batch by wider blank-line gaps. A stylistic residue era — formulaic closers recur across records ("The vacuum is perfectly full", "We leave it at that"). Verified hard breaks intact; preserved, not normalized.
• Classification stat blocks (241/242/246/247 lines 15–17 style): consecutive declarative lines with no blank separation compiling as a single paragraph — the documented mascot stat-block convention, not a per-record fix.
• Voice residue: 241 line 49's flat register, 243 aphorisms 4–7 shifting into incident-report voice, 245's "pending-render" uncertainty about the mascot's own dimensions. Preserved.

Verification performed

• git diff on all ten records: emphasis markers only — byte-identical after stripping **.
• BORIS_BIN=/Users/tbuddy/dev/filed.fyi/bin/boris ./bin/validate_graph.sh — passed (Boris graph diagnostics, full Cantilever compile, verse residue check, HTML ID audit, Filed certification).
• Compiled-article inspection: each edited page emits exactly one added <strong>; all <br> hard breaks intact (239: 62, 240/244/245: 18, 241/242/243/248: 38, 246/247: 54). M-0242's "depletion.Lantern" and M-0246's fused "Boundary Note" confirmed rendering as flagged, untouched.
• git fetch origin && git merge origin/main — merged; counts recounted to actual.
• python3 scripts/check_collection_counts.py — PASS (changelog Count and README totals reconciled to actual).

Unresolved follow-up

• 241 line 49, 242 lines 47–48 and 81, 246 line 81 — needs decision items await maintainer ruling on the issue thread.
