• Read all eight assigned records in full, frontmatter through final limerick line.
• 281.comfort-ledgerling.md line 96: bolded "Cure is not on file" — the Haiku Log's closing line and the record's thesis landing (the ledger balances; the cure was never booked). Asterisks only.
• 283.aftercare-vellum.md line 73: bolded the Archive Note sentence "sometimes the kindest thing an institution does is speak beautifully after it has already finished declining to change." — the difficult truth the record exists to preserve. Deliberate lowercase retained. Asterisks only.
• 288.deferential-spark.md line 16: bolded "Sometimes it keeps them decorative." — the darker half of the intro's alive/decorative pivot. Asterisks only.
