• Read all six assigned records in full, frontmatter through final limerick line, including residue appendices.
• 298.tender-escrow.md line 75: bolded "Sometimes it is enough for care to be late." — the biography's closing line and the failure signature's definitional landing. Asterisks only.
• 299.seal-of-maybe-enough.md line 30: bolded "administrative truce" — the coined definitional phrase the Distinction paragraph lands on. Asterisks only.
• 300.friendship-preamble.md line 15: bolded "the polite preamble before a devastating audit" — the compressed pivot naming what the mascot is. Asterisks only.
• 301.friendrick-the-extant.md: block-spacing repairs verified against compiled output, plus one bold pivot. Lines 11–14 were four paragraph-units (definition, origin, thesis, current task) compiling as one run-on <p> — split into four paragraphs. Line 42 "Interpretation log:" was lazily absorbed into the haiku blockquote as a fourth quote line, and lines 47–50 ("Reseed outcome:" label, outcome sentence, closing couplet) were swallowed into the final <li> — detached both labels and split the outcome sentence from the closing couplet. What was deliberately left alone

• 297.minute-absolution.md: reviewed unchanged — **Function:** / **Distinction:** labels and italic *not* (lines 13–15) already mark the record's pivots; the emphasis budget is spent.
• All frontmatter, canonical IDs, tags, titles, anchors ({#...}), headings, lists, quoted material, stat-block conventions, and every existing emphasis marker (including 301's first-mention **Friendrick the Extant** and verse italics).
• Every haiku and limerick line: all carry the two-space hard break; byte-level check found no #824-class drift in this batch. Stanza gaps, flat limerick clusters, and residue blank lines preserved exactly.
• 301 lines 255–339: limerick B-lines carry 2–3 leading spaces (printed-limerick indentation convention). Nonstandard verse layout — flagged needs decision in the PR, not normalized. Renders harmlessly (≤3 spaces are stripped as continuation lines).
• 301 line 60: relatedLorelog fused word — probable non-formatting defect (likely intended "related Lorelog"), flagged needs decision; word fixes are out of presentation scope.

• Compiled-article inspection of M-0301.html before and after: confirmed pre-edit lazy-continuation gluing (label inside <blockquote>; label + outcome + couplet inside final <li>) and correct detached <p>/<ul>/<blockquote> structure post-edit.
• Compiled-article inspection of M-0298, M-0299, M-0300, M-0304: each renders exactly one <strong> pivot in the intended location; M-0297 (unchanged) recompiled clean.

• python3 scripts/check_collection_counts.py — PASS after recount.

Unresolved follow-up

• 301 indented limerick B-lines (lines 255–339): whether the printed-limerick indentation convention is sanctioned residue or should be normalized — maintainer decision (needs decision).
• 301 line 60 relatedLorelog fused word — likely defect; left for maintainer call since wording is out of scope (needs decision).
