What changed

• Read all six assigned records in full, frontmatter through final limerick line, including aphorism runs and related-residue sections.
• 422.form-sister-pale.md line 18: bolded "unable to process the contained instructions" — the definitional pivot of the record's thesis (correct syntax, impossible semantics; the slogan's "It is written correctly. It is still wrong." made literal). Asterisks only.
• 424.the-second-domino.md line 20: bolded "not the origin of failure" — the record declares its own pivot in the next clause ("That distinction matters deeply to it."). Asterisks only.
• 423, 425, 426, 428: reviewed unchanged. No phrase earned a pivot beyond what the slogan/stat block already carries; 425's four-paragraph staccato biography already isolates its thesis typographically.

What was deliberately left alone

• All frontmatter, canonical IDs, tags, titles, {#...} anchors, stat-block label markup, lists, headings, existing verse italics, and every word of prose and poetry.
• Verse hard breaks in all six records. Mascot ## Haiku Log / ## Limerick Log residue carries two-space breaks on every verse line including stanza-final lines (only the section-final line lacks one) — a collection-wide convention seen in unassigned neighbors (421, 429) as well. It predates #824's fixer scope (limericks/, haikus/, ## Related * regions only). Flagged needs decision on the issue; not normalized.
• 424.the-second-domino.md lines 11–16, 26: plain Role:/Function:/Emotional Tone:/Slogan: stat lines, unquoted slogan, and heading-less Biography/Associated Mascots labels. This is a six-record minority convention in the collection (294, 299, 424, 429, 431, 451) vs. the 74–86-record **Role:**/##-headed majority — normalizing one record of six would create a new inconsistency. Flagged needs decision; not edited.
• 423 line 18 single trailing space on the biography line — corpus-wide residue also present in unassigned neighbors (421); renders nothing; left as found.
• The Ledger Snag/Ledger Snarl reference split between 424 line 29 and 428 line 24 — already documented as preserved historical irregularity (changelog/2026-10-08-aphorisms-009.md); both names point at the same 409.ledger-snag.md record.

• Compiled-article inspection of dist/cantilever/mascots/M-0422.html, M-0424.html (changed), and M-0423.html (largest record, deliberately unchanged): exactly one new <strong> per changed record, no literal asterisks, verse <br /> counts intact, single <article> each.

Unresolved follow-up
