Presentation QA Posts 002: Read-First Review of Three Records

Maintenance ID: 0.1.00058.posts-002 Date: 2026-10-08 Scope: content/posts/ — the three records assigned by workload issue #771

What changed

  • Read all three assigned records in full, frontmatter through final line, including the Related Aphorisms/Haikus/Limericks residue appended to each.
  • ffp-0385-progress-without-work.md line 19: bolded "keep progress visible long after progress itself became intermittent", the thesis pivot of the prose section. Asterisks only.
  • replacement-without-release.md line 17: bolded "It distributes.", the pivot that names the record's failure shape. Asterisks only.
  • trust-records-after-proof-decay.md line 19: bolded "do both unevenly" in "The dangerous ones do both unevenly.", the closing pivot of the prose section. Asterisks only.
  • content/changelog.md: trunk count set from 81 to 82 by recounting the Markdown source under content/changelog/ (81 before this docket, plus this docket). README page/satellite totals updated to match (2,287 pages, 2,276 satellites).

What was deliberately left alone

  • All frontmatter, canonical IDs, tags, headings, {#...} anchors, two-space hard breaks in the haiku and limerick sections, and quoted/documentary material.
  • The intervening diff since the issue snapshot (8997eebee) was inspected before editing: commit ed4ff55b (0.1.00056.verse-hard-break-consistency, merged via #821) restored missing two-space hard breaks in the verse sections of ffp-0385-progress-without-work.md and replacement-without-release.md. Whitespace-only; no words changed. trust-records-after-proof-decay.md is unchanged since the snapshot.
  • The ## Related Haikus → ### <title>/### Stub: → ## Haikus triple-heading pattern in replacement-without-release.md (lines 52-57) and trust-records-after-proof-decay.md (lines 56-61) is corpus-wide generator residue (same shape across lorelog and reference). Preserved, not normalized.
  • The four-line closing litany in replacement-without-release.md (lines 23-26) carries no hard breaks and compiles as one paragraph. The verse-hard-break pass that touched this file left it as prose; preserved as found.
  • Residue preserved, not corrected: trust-records-after-proof-decay.md line 46 "user's" uses a curly apostrophe beside straight apostrophes elsewhere; replacement-without-release.md line 17 "the archives quieter failure shapes" lacks an apostrophe.

Verification performed

  • BORIS_BIN=/Users/tbuddy/dev/filed.fyi/bin/boris ./bin/validate_graph.sh exited 0 before and after the edits: "Verse residue check passed"; "HTML ID audit: 0 pages with duplicate IDs"; "Filed certification passed"; "Filed build passed: dist/cantilever".
  • python3 scripts/test_collection_counts.py, test_verse_residue.py, test_verse_stage.py, test_tag_roundtrip.py: all pass. (scripts/test_presentation_qa.py, cited by an earlier docket, does not exist on this branch.)
  • Rendered-HTML diff of the three compiled articles against a pre-edit build of the same tree: each page differs by exactly one <strong> pair at the edited sentence and nothing else. Verse hard breaks, {#...} anchors, heading structure, and navigation are byte-identical.

Unresolved follow-up

  • None.
