What changed

One Alt-text: line was authored per record under the pass-3 B-track register constraint (deadpan, concrete visual inventory, evidence-bounded; exemplar mascots/M-0019; approved register per merged pilot PR #993).

• None of the 29 assigned records carried a pre-existing ## Image section. A ## Image section containing only the Alt-text: line was created at the conventional position on each: immediately before ## Biography where that heading exists (085, 121, 201–210, 212–221), and before the equivalent first narrative section where it does not (078 → ## Probable Origin; 079 → ## Emergence; 080, 081, 083, 084 → ## Designation and Habitat).
• Judgment calls on irregular layouts: 085 keeps its one-line ## Role/## Function/## Emotional Tone/## Rotkeeper Alignment stat block ahead of the new ## Image, which was placed before ## Biography — the first narrative section. On 211, ## Biography exists but follows ## Duties and ## Known Failures; ## Image was placed before ## Duties so the section remains adjacent to the header field block, consistent with the fleet-wide layout.

What was deliberately left alone

• All frontmatter, canonical IDs, titles, tags, and statuses.
• No other wording, ordering, verse tails, or formatting. No frontmatter image: keys or .assets/ references were introduced; the Alt-text: line is body text only.
• Non-formatting defects noticed while reading (e.g. 084's Degraded Procedural Role/Behavioral Residue/Archival Status runs missing ## heading markup under ## Distinction; 204's dangling empty []() link residue; 211's empty ## Haiku Log) were left as-is; residue is not this slice's business.
