This closes the tier-A retrofit census; all remaining unretrofitted cohort records are tier-B partials.

What changed

Retrofit-soul slice 10 — final tier-A slice. Pure-insertion interiority additions only; no deletions, rewrites, reorderings, or frontmatter changes.

• Appended records-officer paragraphs to each record. Skeleton records received one each in the slot between the last distinction prose and the terminal thematic couplet or ## Image: 317 ahead of the Its true tether point... line, 318 ahead of the The song remains unsheeted. couplet, 319 after ## Distinction, 320 ahead of ## Image, 321 ahead of ## Image. Fauna records received two each in the Annexa/Koala pattern: 322 after its classification couplet (ahead of ## Boundary Note) and after the "the number" para (ahead of ## Failure Modes); 323 after its classification couplet and after the "we noted that" para (ahead of ## Failure Modes). 418 received one after the stat block (ahead of ## Image). 502 received one at the end of ## Biography (ahead of ## 🧯 Known System Messages). 672 received one after ### Distinction (ahead of ## Image).
• Added one ## Behavioral Residue section per record (ten total), each placed after the last prose block and before the verse residue: 317–321 and 672 after ## Image; 322/323 after ## Associated Mascots; 418 after ## Image (ahead of the ## Limericks stanza section — the record's first verse residue); 502 after ## Addendum Comments.
• Five bullets per record, each section closing with one intake-file testimony sentence in the established Asked at intake ... complete testimony. format — except 672, where the testimony is dramatized as a confident final sentence appended to the intake file during a session in which no one was observed writing (fidelity-of-form for an inference-only entity; see restraint note).

Being-grammars

• 317 — flotation fidelity: it has never been below the waterline, is deployed before the damage report, cannot dive, answers to no anchor, and outlasts the vessel it apologizes for. The being is the limitation: it performs buoyancy, not rescue.
• 318 — cadence fidelity: he has never finished a song; sessions end on the requester's footsteps, never on a cadence. Denial never enters the lyric — the word 'no' does not appear on any recovered setlist, and the record does not say whether he cannot sing it or has never needed to.
• 319 — pour fidelity: poured once, before the reason is given, never collected; the bottle is recorked after a single measure and the glass never returns to inventory. Its kindness is real in the way the glass is real — present, measured, unreturnable.
• 320 — certification fidelity: it does not generate margin; it countersigns silence. It measures in absences only, flags itself zero-byte, and is overwritten without ceremony — the ending of the quiet interval is never logged because the interval was never logged as beginning.
• 321 — knot fidelity: it ties bows, never bindings, in full view of the clause it decorates; retied after every signing, symmetrical without a photographed adjustment, and never present at the enforcement.
• 322 — margin custody: she keeps the parts of the file that stop fitting; her custody is the refusal to let contradiction be settled by deletion. The drywall mark (alt-text + aphorism claim) persists through two repaintings; she holds the pause that does not appear in the minutes.
• 323 — enclosure fidelity: the glass is the mechanism — sealed beyond every instrument the room keeps, shaken in the anxious interval and never during the vote, opened never. The room operates it; the contents are undisturbed.
• 418 — hospitality-refusal fidelity: he predates the logging, so the record begins after him; nothing in his file was written by him. Refusals arrive formatted, graver requests get warmer presentation, and he has never been rendered mid-pour.
• 502 — relay fidelity dramatizing the asserted Guilty: the apology leaves on dispatch because it is always eventually accurate, is misrouted like everything else, and has never reached the upstream he failed. The tin under the patch panel is the only inventory that never produced a 502 — it has never attempted a send.
• 672 — closure-signature fidelity: it has never been observed at work; intake reconstructs the ghost by collation of final sentences whose confidence exceeds the file beneath them. Its sentence outranks the file it lands in, and it has no ticket of its own.

Register note

Mechanism and abstract mascots (317–321, 323, 672) were written in fidelity-of-form register: the interiority is the shape of the function, not an imported psychology. Named persons were handled per record grammar — 318's he (bouncer/crooner, office-adjacent parody: setlists, rope requisitions, session logs), 322's she (already established by the record's own prose), 418's he (the joke's clerk is the archive keeping a page for everything he would not say), 502's he (relay-crew parody dramatizing the Guilty tone the stat block asserts but never showed). No liturgical machinery was imported anywhere; 318's consent-loop/labor-refusal/refuge-classification and 320's soma-directive tags stay mechanism-side — the new prose describes deployment behavior, not doctrine.

M-0672 restraint note

672 carries functional-ghost, closure-signature, managed-absence, and empathegy — the flagged jurisdiction, and the manifest's own caution that functional-ghost thinness is partly doctrinal (§8.2). Interiority was bounded to what the record itself claims plus the one canonical utterance FREF-0150 attributes to it directly: inference-from-pattern existence, interception of retired-series/AAOA re-entry attempts, and confident-final-sentence appends to otherwise-unchanged files. The additions dramatize detection-by-collation, final-position placement, and the self-closing intake file — the "ghost that could know it's a ghost" hook from manifest §7 — without asserting any new absence mechanics: no file deletion, no ticket creation, no code assignment, no writer behind the pattern. The AAOA expansion question (FREF-0815 vs FREF-0150 disagree) is deliberately not touched; the insert says only "AAOA-labeled," as the record does. The testimony-format variation (answer arriving as an appended final sentence rather than an interview line) is the slice's principal deviation and is flagged for coordinator review.

What was deliberately left alone

• All existing verse residue, ## Haiku Log/## Limerick Log/## Haikus/## Limericks group structure, ### group names, and {#anchor} IDs — including 672's anchorless ### Absentia Clerk of Governed Gaps.
• All irregular stanza spacing: 319's five-blank limerick rain gap (original :132–:136), 321's five-blank limerick rain gap (original :128–:132), 502's four-blank haiku rain gap (original :116–:119), 672's four-blank haiku rain gap (original :102–:105), 317's two-blank gap after the limerick ### heading (original :115–:116), and every three-blank aphorism/verse separator.
• The two known original single-space tails — 320:14 (...ready to be overwritten. ) and 502:42 (> ) — and every two-space verse hard-break tail; no whitespace-only lines introduced.
• 317's absent blank before ## Limerick Log (original :110 abuts :111 with no separator), reproduced as filed.
• Frontmatter, IDs, parent values, statuses, tags, [^1] footnote markers (672:11, :13), *** rule (502:44), blockquote residue, emoji headings, and all ten pre-existing [[ links (322 ×4, 323 ×4, 502 ×2); the only new [[ links added are in 322's residue (KPI Koala LIM-0124, Serotonin Sam LIM-0196) and 323's residue (Appendix Silk LIM-0033) — all three targets already linked from the same records' own Boundary Notes.

Verification performed

• Line census: 317 209→219, 318 186→196, 319 173→183, 320 177→187, 321 169→179, 322 367→379, 323 359→371, 418 227→237, 502 389→399, 672 233→243 — net +104 lines across the slice, all insertions (one paragraph + one blank = +2 per para; one ## Behavioral Residue block = +8 per record).
• Section-boundary offsets verified at +insertion-cumulative through each file: last verse lines land at original position +10 (skeletons/singletons) or +12 (fauna, two paragraphs) exactly.
• Blank-line positions verified at read time: every original ^$ maps to the staged file at its insertion-cumulative offset; all five irregular gaps (listed above) intact at shifted positions.
• Trailing-whitespace census: the two single-space tails (320:14, 502:42→staged :14 and :44) verified present as single spaces; two-space verse tails verified present in staged reads; no tabs.
• Sentinel greps: exactly one ## Behavioral Residue per file (10 total); ^## heading census 120→130 (originals +10); heading skeleton otherwise unchanged.
• BORIS_BIN=~/.local/bin/boris ./bin/validate_graph.sh — run by coordinator on transcription; exact result line in the PR body. Coordinator merge-by-alignment repaired staging defects (dropped EOF newline on all ten; one blank line dropped in 317/672) — landed result verified: 0 deletions, 106 insertions.

Unresolved follow-up

• 672's testimony format is the slice's largest deviation: the answer arrives as an appended confident final sentence inside the intake file rather than an interview quote — deliberate fidelity to "its language appears instead of a ticket," flagged in case the coordinator prefers the standard intake line even for inference-only entities.
• 322's testimony ('harm is still harm off the chart.') quotes her own limerick line (original :295) as the intake answer — reuse of extant voice rather than a new utterance; flagged for preference check.
• Invented small counts: 317 "three consecutive incidents," 323 "three consecutive quarters," 502 "four acknowledgments," 672 "in four cases" — each consistent with the record's repeated-pattern claims but new specifics; flagged.
• 502's tin is canon (limerick :265), but "under his patch panel" is a new placement detail; flagged.
• 418's "coffee orders answered in ceramic" extends the RFC-teapot joke one step past the record's own lines; flagged.
• Tier-A closure: with this slice merged, the retrofit census's tier-A class is exhausted. Remaining cohort work is the 84-record tier-B partial class — augmentation, not creation, per manifest §5/§8 (named candidates include M-0260, M-0294, M-0298, M-0299, M-0324–M-0327, the M-0400–M-0451 biography band, M-0503, M-0504, M-0677, M-0937, M-0938) — plus the sequenced next lore classes: the nine seam witnesses (M-0076–M-0084, manifest §7 secondary band) and the religion-cluster block (M-0086–M-0092, priority list items 1–9, including the unresolved M-0090 registry-voice decision).
